How To Logout On Facebook Messenger



Your privacy matters, so why does the Facebook Messenger doesn't have a Logout Button? How embarrassing it is that they didn't anticipated that you need to go offline even if you own the phone where this app is installed!

Can I log out of Messenger?
You can't log out of an account on Messenger, but there are other things you can do to reduce notifications or make yourself unavailable:

If you don't want to appear as active  on chat, you can turn chat off directly from the Messenger app
You can adjust your message notifications for Messenger or mute individual conversations
If you need to change account the primary account you use with Messenger, deleting and reinstalling the Messenger app will let you log in with a different account.

If you think you've left yourself logged in on someone else’s phone, you can always end an active session from your Facebook app's Security Settings.

They were wrong when they've said that you can't logout to that app. The good thing is, there is a way to logout without deleting and reinstalling this app.

How To Logout On Facebook Messenger

Follow the steps below:


Go to phone settings and find apps or application




    Find the Messenger app







    Clear data









    Don't forget to logout to your facebook.










    If you didn't logout to Facebook, there will be direct signing in button for the current login Facebook and it will not ask for password anymore.
